NOTE: Lexus applications will need to remove the plastic shroud cover above the Airbox.
For ULP models, check the clamp sealing between the housing outlet and intake pipe, as this dimension differs slightly from diesel platforms. It is recommended to use a T-bolt clamp to maintain an adequate critical seal (P148342 T-bolt clamp sold separately). It is recommended to remove the small rubber nodules on the intake pipe hose clamp area to give a completely flat surface before fitting the T-bolt clamp.

How often should I change the filter element?
The XLC200K is equipped with a built-in restriction indicator. We recommend replacing the filter element only when the indicator turns red or during routine maintenance intervals, at least every 12 months, even if the indicator has not turned red.
Will the PowerCore 4x4 air cleaner work with my Snorkel?
The PowerCore 4x4 XLC200K air cleaner will work with most aftermarket snorkels.

"I don't think there is a better aftermarket Air cleaner assembly on the market.
Very easy to retrofit. No mods needed. Uses all standard OEM bolt holes. Took me an hour to fit, which included a coffee break.
Engineered to suit the required airflow of the V8 diesel. 3 times the filter surface area of any standard OEM or aftermarket filter. The XLC200K is the only air cleaner assembly that features a restriction indicator to display the remaining service life.
Our LandCruiser is mainly used to pull our Explorex caravan. Since fitting the Donaldson XLC200K assembly, I am getting better fuel economy, equating to a saving of 1 litre per 100 kilometres.
Because of the large surface area of the Donaldson XLC200K filter, I believe change intervals will be around 40,000 to 50,000 kms; not only does it work it looks good too."
